WASHINGTON, D.C. – Triad Middle School teacher Christina Smart Meigs is one of the 36 teachers nationwide selected as a Behring Teacher Ambassador. Smart Meigs will represent Ohio. National History Day (NHD) made the announcements at the end of February.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – National History Day (NHD) announced this morning the 36 teachers selected as Behring Teacher Ambassadors. Local teacher Kathy Paul, from Johnston Middle School in Johnston, is one of two teachers selected to represent Iowa.
She [Hannah Scott] was one of 491 students competing in the Kansas City area’s 17th annual National History Day regional event. She’s a freshman and one of five Odessa, Mo., students in the competition held at the Truman Library and Museum and nearby Independence Academy.
