Students present their work to judges, who work in teams of three, to provide feedback on all students&#8217; work and select projects to advance to the next level of the competition. Between contest levels, students are encouraged to revise their projects based on what they have learned and the feedback from the judges. NHD relies on consensus judging, which means that instead of giving entries numerical scores, judges rank the entries after discussion within the judging team.<\/p>\n\n<h3  class=\"appear-on-scroll wp-block-heading\" ><span class=\"text\"><strong>Become an NHD Judge<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"appear-on-scroll\">Judging is a rewarding experience for educators, history enthusiasts, professionals, and community members alike.
