Krista joined the NHD team in 2023. She has over a decade of teaching experience in higher education and dual enrollment courses and comes from a curriculum and teaching resource development background. Krista earned a Ph.D. in History (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee), and her research and teaching work explores teaching and learning with objects/material culture. As program manager, she assists with NHD student and teacher outreach, including publications, summer institutes, and conferences.
